The Jesper Tydén Fan Website Jesper Tydén is a native of Stockholm, Sweden. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, during which time he was involved with the Swedish Folk Opera and several chamber choirs. He continued his education at Göteborg University, in the School of Theatre and Opera. While there, he was involved in productions of Chess and Les Misérables, as well as a new musical, S.O.S..

His first professional engagement was in Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame in Berlin, where he understudied the role of Captain Phoebus. He was most recently seen as Crown Prince Rudolf in Elisabeth in Essen, where he was also the alternate for the lead role of Death. He played the role of Chris in Miss Saigon in St. Gallen, Switzerland in 2003, as well as reprising his role as Crown Prince Rudolf in the new Vienna production of Elisabeth. During the summer months of 2003 and 2004, he was seen as Tony in West Side Story at the Bregenz Summer Festival on Lake Constance. He can now be seen as Jonathan Harker in the St. Gallen production of Frank Wildhorn's Dracula.

Along with performing in various musical and solo concerts, Jesper is currently working on a recording of original compositions, and can be heard on the Essen Cast Recording of Elisabeth as well as the Elisabeth Tenth Anniversary Concert recording.
